BUKU Analisis Legal Teks Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) antara Indonesia Uni eropa ini merupakan hasil studi yang dilakukan Forest Governance and Multi-stakeholder Forestry Programme (MFP-II)  terhadap legal teks VPA.  MFP II yang merupakan program kerjasama bilateral bidang Kehutanan antara Pemerintah Indonesia dengan Pemerintah Inggris dan memliki fokus pada isu Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (SVLK) sebagai instrumen dalam rangka perbaikan tata kelola kehutanan dan kerjasama perdagangan kayu legal seperti Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) sebagaimana diperkenalkan oleh Uni Eropa, memandang bahwa pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap teks hukum VPA sangat diperlukan dalam rangka memberikan informasi dan khazanah tentang teks hukum VPA sehingga dapat memperkuat posisi dan pemahaman delegasi Indonesia dalam negosiasi VPA. MFP Terbitkan Buku “Peluang Pemanfaatan Potensi Karbon Hutan dalam Isu Perubahan Iklim”

Salah satu fokus dari Forest Governance and Multistakeholder Forestry Programme (MFP II) adalah terkait dengan inisiatif mendorong pasar kabon yang berpihak pada rakyat miskin (pro-poor carbon initiative), termasuk di antaranya perdagangan karbon dari hutan. Untuk memberikan pemahaman yang luas tentang perubahan iklim dan perdagangan karbon, MFP bekerjasama dengan Yayasan Resource Development Center (YRDC) telah menerbitkan buku “Peluang Pemanfaatan Potensi Karbon Hutan dalam Isu Perubahan Iklim”.

Progres Report, Six Monthly Report: April – September 2009

In the Annual Report of Forestry Governance and Multistakeholder Forestry Programme 2008/2009, March 2009, it was reported that the MFP team had submitted a set of Annual Work plan (AWP) 2009-2010. The MFP team had completed AWP 2009-2010 as a reference of programme implementation and collaboration for the 2^nd year MFP II programme which covered the recommendation of an independent evaluation team, held by the CIDT-Wolverhampton and DFID.  However, the implementation of the work plan should be proceed under approval of the Steering Committee which in current time is in going process under arrangement of Ministry of Forestry  and DFID, to agree for some extend focusing the programme directions that will be only prioritizing on the output 1. This situation discouraging the implementation of the work plan since the Steering Committee not yet precedes the meeting until the midterm report in place. (more…)
