Progress Report MFP II Period October-December 2009

The progress report period October - December 2009 is a part of reporting process and as a reference for monitoring the progress of MFP II program period 2009/2010. As a progress report, the references used in the report are Logical Frame Program (LFP) and Annual Work Plan (AWP) 2009/2010. However, this progress report is different from the usual report, as it is using the LFP and AWP 2009/2010 draft which officially approved by Steering Committee in October 27, 2009. (more…)

Quartly Report MFP II Periode Oktober-Desember 2009

Progres Report, Six Monthly Report: April – September 2009

In the Annual Report of Forestry Governance and Multistakeholder Forestry Programme 2008/2009, March 2009, it was reported that the MFP team had submitted a set of Annual Work plan (AWP) 2009-2010. The MFP team had completed AWP 2009-2010 as a reference of programme implementation and collaboration for the 2nd year MFP II programme which covered the recommendation of an independent evaluation team, held by the CIDT-Wolverhampton and DFID.  However, the implementation of the work plan should be proceed under approval of the Steering Committee which in current time is in going process under arrangement of Ministry of Forestry  and DFID, to agree for some extend focusing the programme directions that will be only prioritizing on the output 1. This situation discouraging the implementation of the work plan since the Steering Committee not yet precedes the meeting until the midterm report in place. (more…)

Progress Report MFP, April – June 2009

In the End March 2009, in the Annual Report of Forestry Governance and Multistakeholder Forestry Programme (MFP II) 2008/2009 it was reported that the MFP team had arranged a 2009-2010 Annual Workplan. The MFP team had produced a 2009-2010 Annual Workplan as a reference of programme implementation and collaboration for the 2nd year MFP II programme running. The AWP arrangement is based on the recommendation of an independent evaluation team, held by the CIDT-Wolferhamthon and DFID. However, the implementation of AWP is still pending since the approval of the Steering Committee (SC) is waiting for an agreement between Forestry Department and DFID where both should be sharpening the programme directions that will be only prioritizing on the output 1. Pending process is caused by a low response of decision making process on the level of Steering Committee. It results pending programmes that are supposed to be implemented shortly. (more…)

Annual Report 2008/2009 Forest Governance and Multistakeholder Forestry Programme 2007-2011

MFP II is run by a Progamme Management Unit (PMU). The PMU is responsible to share the work loads clearly. The team is consisting of 3 Directions where two Co Directors areresponsible on programme policy. However the Programme Director’s responsibility is onplanning, implementation, monitoring and consolidation that covers the rest of PMU activities. Two Secondees strengthens PMU function in handling policy and programme communication together with MoF specialized on TLAS implementation, VPA and CBFMpromotion. Two consultant experts are specialized on handling TLAS-VPA implementation that represent RI and UK government. The programme itself consists of three programme facilitators and supporting system that handle the programme administration and logistical arrangement. (more…)

Summary Annual Report Forest Governance and Multistakeholder Forestry Programme 2008/2009

Forest Governance and Multistakeholder Forestry Programme Phase II (MFP 2), is collaboration between the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia and the Department for International Development (DfID) of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, was initiated to support better forestry governance. Focus MFP 2 period 20082011 is on the negotiation and an implementation of EU Government of Indonesia Voluntary Partnership Agreement on Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT-VPA). Multistakeholder Forestry Programme

The program objectives are to strengthen government and civil society partnerships at local and national levels to build capacity, empower community forest managers and develop and implement policy. In particular, the program will work to nurture and strengthen its network of Community Foundations in the regions, established with previous program support.
